This is the forum for the RPG chats, http://nexxushost.com/, located there.

Well, since we need more support for this forum, as it has been kinda low on the life support scale recently... So, at some of Webby~J's suggestions, I have come up with many things that the TIC forum can be used for!

In Character Journals
An excellent way to keep players in tK up to date on the goings on of your character. You could either use it like a summary of some current RPs, or, you could actually write it out like a journal. Be creative, and define your character at the same time!

In Character Mail
If you need to send a letter to a character in tK, and do it in character, why not put it up in the Forums? It is an excellent NPC mail carrier, for so long as the mail is put in outbox, it will be delivered. Smiley

Notifications of Important tK Events
Just about everyone in here knows about Eiji's Moon Go Boom episode... Because word got around. What better place to spread the word of significant events that have either yet to come or have taken place? If your character is throwing a ball or masquerade party, then would he/she not poster the town with papers and fliers? Perhaps this would be a good place to do so as well! Of course, use In Character terminology, like, for example;
Quote from: Masquerade Ball Flier
The lady Alannis cordially invites you, all the denizens of the Keep and her surrounding lands to attend a lavish ball at her manor, Shadowmoon_Terrace, on Monday, the Twenty Third of August.

All respectable citizens are invited, but civility is requested on all parts of attendants (and that includas any vampires or werewolves that may be in attendance).

The Lady Alannis thanks you for your patronage

Ya see? Something alot like that.

In Character News media (Newspapers, weekly fliers, etc..)
Is your character a journalist? Does he/she work for a major/not-so-major newspaper or magazine? Does he/she turn in articles about tK and it's denizens? Put 'em up here! That way, anyone who wants a copy can see it here, as if buying it from the newstand!

And let's not forget the Adventures!
What were the TIC forums made for? Forum adventuring! Some of the most in depth posts and adventures can happen in the Forums, where people are not woried about time constraints and tK gremming them. Are you a slower, mor in-depth para poster? Then maybe the TIC forums are for you!

In closing, I would just like to emphasize this; the In CHaracter forums are not limited to just adventuring. There is a huge, grand scope that they can be used for. Use your imaginations, and, if you have any questions, just PM me or Web~Janitor, or any of the other TIC Moderators, and we will be more than happy to help you out!

Since the MainHall is basicaly a place for IC embodiment of OOC personas, I've actualy thought it would be interesting for a MH Buliten Board, for people searching each other out for IC reasons.

We used to use the Crown & Cushion for bulletiny stuff, but the main problem here is going to be the userbase of The Keep. Nowaday, 80% don't know the forums exist. 50% are not going to care if the forums exist.

What you could do is go Keepside and drop the link giving the advertisements you just did, Brandon...

I used to be part of 80%, then the 50%... now I care a bit more. We have to spread the word, I guess.

All of those ideas I think are exceptionaly good. I especially like the journal one and mail (for when the user isnt on but you still want to say hi IC, eh?) but thats just me :biglaugh: If all of these things come to life in the forums it would be great for The Keep and its members.
