The same goes for dice spam. Acronyms used to come under the same label too. Someone would say an acronym, and then people would suggest random meanings for it.

Red at the top, blue at the bottom, with a white slightly s curved band horizontal across the middle on a dark blue background. The Pepsi logo., Even without the word Pepsi, recognisable. Also a meme. "The Cake is a Lie" is also a meme by now. I can has cheeseburger is a meme. Look aruond you. You'll see symbols for companies, or hear little bits of themetunes, or a certain configuration of colours, or a certain passage of text, and that'll be it, and you'll INSTANTLY recognise them as such and such a product or service or brand... Bam. That's a meme. |

All corporate logos in that respect are potentially memetic... But then the Pepsi Logo generally just reminds me of an oddly coloured yin-yang. Without the word itself I don't tend to think of that unpleasantly sweet (and otherwise flavourless) cola that usually comes marked with the symbol. |
