As if I don't have enough reason to write other then I need the freaking practice, getting paid artical by artical without having it be a deadline or 9-5 job apeals to me. Are any of the mentioned sites sounding like they're worth while?

I don't have experience with this,  but most of them seem to pay out based on adviews/clickthroughs or giving you a cut when a third-party purchases your work. They're really more like hosts or agents. I don't see any reason that they wouldn't be legitimate, although it would also not surprise me if they have some sort of minimum on their payouts (ie, you must reach $50 before they'll cut a check) which serves to pad their bottom line from bad/unproductive writers.

If you're writing anyway, I don't see a terrible harm in signing up for one of these unless they demand your personal info up front. Some of them are simply not going to generate you very much money.

Be careful about what you write/publish through these sites because it would also not surprise me if using them gives partial or total rights to the site. IE, don't post teasers of the book you're hoping to publish at some point.

It's real, my mom does it all the time. She gets paid about 50-100 bucks a week writing for a different site, http://www.constant-content.com
