What kinds of traits or habits that people have bother you the worst? Which are intolerable and which are merely nuisances you'd be willing to forgive?

Nuisance: Short-sightedness, drama-seeking, pettiness, shit-talking and random insulting.
Intolerable: Willful ignorance, blind intolerance.

People that complaint about everything. To say it straight: people that bitch around all the time, about everything, but do nothing about it.

I could forgo yelling at me, even when people are condescending with me.

These days I'm mostly irked by false social images, things people try to do for the sake of appearing some certain way to others. Also when someone changes something they'd do/say because of what they think others might think. Those, and people who talk about themselves a lot.

Not that I still don't have to correct myself regarding the second sometimes. Can be a hard habit to get out of.

People that are loud. Not so much in the aspect of talking but just making a lot of noise in everything they do.

It took me a while to get to this one, but I got it. The inability to submit to other people. It's present everywhere, even in my closest friends. It is simply part of the human condition. No country is exempt.

I am NOT talking about at the workplace, military, etc where your superior is usually appointed to you without question and your options are obey or lose your job.

I mean every day life. Almost everything can be an example of this problem if you look hard enough. Video games would be the obvious example. You get into a team based MMO or FPS, and somebody tries to get the team going in an organized direction but everybody is says "fuk u, i no wat imd ooing" and your team gets slaughtered. But lest you think I'm simply venting anger over losing in a video game, let's go to real life examples.

A few weeks ago I went camping with my friends. Having had lots of experience with the outdoors I told everybody what to bring. When we arrived and set up our tents, it turned out they had not brought what I told them and I ended up having to share my supplies. I don't know why they would choose not to simply bring what I said--I know what I'm talking about.

Back when I did high school drama one of the other students would always talk during rehearsal, and I'd always whisper to shut up so the people on stage can perform, only to have the guy flip out like the clownshoes he is.

Similarly I can offer (nicely, even) to help somebody with their spelling, reading, math, etc and they'll get butthurt about it and yell at me. Hey, it's your grades, not mine. I can complain at somebody that they're driving like a maniac and they get offended. Excuse me, I'm endangered too ya know!

We're all raised too much in this squishy, Barney the Dinosaur fantasy world where people need to be nice and ask you sweetly fifty times for you to do what they say. Sometimes they're telling you what to do for a reason. Maybe you're endangering somebody's life, or maybe you're just being an asshole in public and annoying everybody. Either way it's for your own good unless you want to go to jail for manslaughter, or continue to look like the asshole that you are.

If somebody is complaining at you just to be a whiny idiot then fine, but if you KNOW the person correcting you is right and YOU messed up, swallow your pride and fix it. Don't be 'that guy'.

Amen to that. I hate loud people, but I do include talking, myself.

Failing to use logic, generally coming in the form:

"I don't care what you say, I'm right/sticking to my opinion." Yes, actually stated in just that way. Inference: facts are irrelevant to your opinion.

Much different from 'I hear what you're saying, but I disagree nonetheless.' Which a lot of people usually understand as 'I don't care what you're saying.'

I hate people who always have to be the center of attention by doing something the loudest or trying to always do it the best. These people also tend to turn everything into a competition, which is also annoying. Douchebag is really the word for these people. I hate douchbags.

... or trying to always do it the best.

People should always try their best. People should also try to make it look like they're not. But people suck, generally.

Yeah, like this. Bullcrap. Don't try and hide anything, just don't flaunt it either.

People are going to perceive things in a lot of different ways regardless, but you don't need to add to the mess.

You know who annoys me?   People who post in threads just to get their post count up so they can get a higher rank.  It's not as if they really have anything to say, they simply say it because they're maybe 5 posts away from a new rank.   What bastards.

Oh, it's also kind of annoying when you spend forever and a day trying to explain a concept to someone before they finally just go "Look, I'm never going to get it, I just don't think that way."

At least, probably. X-D I'm the guy that they try to explain to.
