Today is your election day, as the electronic voices in your head should have been warning you for weeks now.

I plan on staying up all night to watch the results, too. This is going to be exciting.

Oh, that's right. I even registered.

...

But damn, I haven't paid ANY attention to either candidate. Barack looks less like he'll die of a heart attack, though.

This is American democracy at work.

It's a good thing you guys don't actually get to choose the President.

Hey, don't lump every voter into that group. I've voted with confidence in my knowledge of both candidates.

I didn't vote. X-D But I am registered. I'll probably pay some attention to the next one.  And other people actually pay attention to the news, unlike me, so yeah, don't lump them in with me. = P

Yes. Yes, she is very old. But she's still ambulatory and looks rather good for her age. Ninety-something for sure, the ones digit escapes me. Ninety-two, I believe.

The rich have always lived on average much longer than the poor. I suspect sometime by the end of this century, the parliaments of various nations will be dominated by liches.

I support any nation that has arcane undead running the show.

Didn't vote 'cause it was clear Snobamanable Snowman was gonna' win anyway.

They wouldn't let me register since I don't have valid proof of my residence here in Nevada, which I have been in for only three months.

Not that it would have made ANY difference in blue California, but it still made me emo.

You know, you should vote anyway because it's a right and privilege that many around the world don't have. Some of these States were lost by a mere 10,000 votes.

I'm afraid to say your vote wouldn't have made much of a difference in Nevada, either. I was surprised to hear that the gay marriage ban in California passed.

That might dig into people's motivations behind voting/not voting though. Do you want to bring that type of conversational horror to these honest forums?

In Ye Olde Days™, there was a board on RPGHost called Gamers; Ethics & Religion. It was a melting pot of personalities, political views, flamewars and goofing around. It was frustrating at times, and highly amusing at others.

I miss that, kind of. Hahahar.

Voted.

Voted for Mr. Obama.  He won.

Voted no on 8 (gay marriage ban) and it's still 'too close to call' but not looking good.

California is like a lot of the country: Intellectual, high-commerce, progressive places on the coast; shitty little fuckers inland.

That's right, you inlanders are shitty little fuckers.  Grin
