I've been listening to the "Oculis Infernum" CD by Van Helsing's Curse a lot recently.
It's really cool to hear metal versions of Tubular Bells, the Moonlight Sonata, the Firebird Suite, Night on Pale (I think) Mountain, and the like...

Hey, it only opened with Metallica because I was really into them at the time. Perfectly valid candidate for my favorite rock band, considering I've been playing their stuff on guitar for 10 years. Something that sticks with me for that long and never gets old has gotta be pretty damn close at least.

I love Jason Mraz, me and my buddy jam his stuff all the time.
And yes, Mozart does count.
