Okay, because I'm a nice guy and most of you guys didn't know what you were doing, you may:

  • Swap out up to three (3) skills/talents to those on your respective tables. You can only spend the amount of EXP you trade in, obviously. You may also drop your background package if it doesn't change your character significantly (Mind-Scrubbed, Dusk) if you don't think it works.
  • You may swap the value of one of your stats with that of another. (I.E., you can swap your BS score with that of your WS score or whatever). You may also trade in/buy one new skill, like above.

Also keep in mind you can't swap out whatever came with your STARTER PACKAGE! You have to keep that.

The reasons for doing this is to make your chars well rounded, since I feel a lot of you went overly combat orientated because you thought the game was going to be horrifically combat orientated. Don't completely drop your combat skills, but if you feel the need to, you can move a few things around.

Just so its clear, I can use the skill swap to change a Psychic power, yes?

Minor ones, yes.

Minor ones, yes.

I can't get any other kind until Rank 5. Tongue

Actually, I just noticed that my rulebook doesn't have progression tables for the Savant Militant and Scholar Materium (the rank above Aspirant). Am I missing something, or did they just leave it out?

Edit: Oh wait they're here, just in the wrong order? Nice proofing guys,

Dunno, pretty sure he's going to do it visa voice or something and I know that I would end up dropping out of that sort of thing. I might PM him and ask, though.

I don't want to push him toward a pbp format if people want voice, though.

He said he'd be interested in trying it but I dunno. I'd personally rather do forums due to time constraints and what not. You should email him with a character idea and note your only down for forums - he said he'd let me bring Sleeze back Cheesy

Did you send him a whole character outlay, or just a blurb? He hasn't provided any rank or anything, so I guess I would just roll something up at rank 1. If we're working with Ordo Hereticus, it might be cool to do something more oriented that direction, like a Cleric or a Sister (WITCH HUNTER). Maybe I should take another look at Adepts, too...

I'd actually like to take a swing at an Arbitrator, but I don't know how that would fall out. The game he's talking makes us acolytes to a Radical, and Arbites don't always gel well with Radicals, if they cross too many lines.

Sounds like a fun time to me. You read Eisenhorn, right? Pull a Fischig.

Not sure if we've covered this at any time, but how often do our Fate points reset? The rules are just 'at the beginning of each session' which obviously makes little sense. I'm assuming that it would be during any kind of interlude, like the trip to Joqur, or would it be more frequent?

Basically it's any interlude, like the big thing about the trip to Joqur, correct. Or whenever I deem that enough time has passed that it warrents a FP reset/EXP gain.

Ok, sounds good. Its good to know because it helps me determine how important/desperate things should be before I use them. I don't want to blow Fate points on mid-line stuff and then have none for the bossfights. Tongue

Also accept my friend request!

So I guess we're down to four from six, now? Is the game open for other people to jump in if they want?

I'm still looking for possible applicants who I'd like to include, yes. If you can convince some people to submit char sheets I'll look 'em over and decide fi I want them or not.

I'm sorry that my posting rate has been bad lately. We're moving offices so I have been stuck at work trying to wrap up projects and shovel everything into boxes. I will get a post in today for sure.

Clearly I should just never use psychic powers at all. What is this, 2 for 2? I even opted for only one Psy dice to reduce the risk. Ffffff.

Hey guys having a psyker surently won't impede the group in anyway, right?

*rolls 9s*.

Yaknow, I think I just figured out why they went with 9's instead of 8's. 8 would've made sense for the Chaos star, but 9's are Tzeentch-y.

It's going to be great if I ever make it to Psy level 3 or 4 and I'm rolling multiple dice to hit a target or 18 or something.

Sorry for the bit of railroading there, but you basically chose one of two exits and yeah.
