Okay, lets get things rolling. Seeing as this chat is just starting out, and we're only really gotten minimal responces to this question IN chat, I'm posting it here.

For all you Haven users, what kind of rules would you like to see included/removed from the current set of rules? And uh, it'd probably be better if you actually read the rules before replying.

What I'd suggest is to wait and see how your stable userbase behaves, first off. Then you can tailor the adjustments, if adjustments are necessary, to the needs of that group. Haven's rules are currently extremely permissive, so that lets everyone find their actual comfort level in terms of behavior.

Just my thoughts. : )

Understandable, but I'd like to see what our current users think so that we can take that into account when/if adjustmenst are made! And seeing as the lot of them tend to be forum quiet, from what I remember, I figured I'd get a head start.

And G, I'm stealing one of your pies. So there.

Well, I think we need to decide what kind of setting are we in.

Are we medieval? futuristic? Both?  What is the level of technology in this place, and if someone brings in something beyond that level of technology, will it work?

I say this because we all know that some people might bring in some modern weapons, which can ruin the play of things. It also can fit into certain settings, but I haven't noticed a lot of modern stuff with our crew.

Do we want to have an NPC hierarchy. I know MR has an elusive ruler who is super powerful etc etc. D&D has a "Lady of Pain" who rules Sigil, and somehow can surpress magick powers (even that of a Deity). So do we want to have an NPC setting, with flavor for players, or just a sort of place?

Umm Divinity unless I'm mistaken...Haven operates on the same principal of TK which is a mass conflux of different realms, thus meaning in any open room its anything you want, there are no set times or technology limits, if you want those you have to make your own room, with your own rules in it regarding that kind of thing. Now if I am wrong I am sure Rook or Daeva will correct me and take one of my piez D:

For the most part yes, Haven operates as a world of all worlds. All times, all eras, even back to when you were all micro-organisms living in the ocean. Generally a time setting tag will be applied to user made rooms that want a certain era in time played.

Just like TK and I exclude the Cafe cause I Saw a predator duking it out with a Spartan in there yesterday.
