Hello everyone, just a quick ooc note: the SoS (Sisters of Sin) would like to host a forum wide ball, to which all serious characters are invited (that means, no joke characters-Villager and Matthias come to mind, lol- we'd like this to be a social event, not a circus)!
I'd like to know what times are good for everyone (or, the majority of people). I noticed that last night (Friday Night) was a good turnout for the Tribunal, so maybe we should do it on Friday, after the Tribunal. Is the Friday after next a good day for everyone? I was thinking, either 2/7/09, 2/13/09, or 2/20/09.
2/7 might be too soon, and 2/13 is a special holiday weekend, so maybe 2/20? I don't know, what are your thoughts, guys? Do you think you'd turn out for the ball? We'll have an official RSVP system in place once we have the date set, so everyone can see who is coming and who is not. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

I'd have to say the 13th, because it's Friday the 13th. The cheesy, yet perfect date for a 'Sinner's ball.

Personally--I have to do the 20th. This weekend is definitely soon for people, and the special weekend is probably going to keep a lot of people away. Least it will keep me away.
The 20th is a normal weekend, and gives people plenty of time to prepare, and push some time around. I think this weekend, however, we should have a final date set.

My suggestions have already been made, but I'm going to put them here just in case anyone who checks the forums missed it in chat:
I think a weeknight would be a little more suitable, something a week or so away, because people tend to enjoy their free time on the weekends away from the computer. I know we discussed a Thursday in the near future (not the day after tomorrow, mind you), and that seems to fit everyone's schedules.

HEAR YE, HEAR YE! We have set a final date for the FIRST OFFICIAL SoS (Sisters of Sin) ball! So far to all I have spoken, weeknights are better so the date will be: THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH @ 7:30 EST. The theme is "masquerade" so this doesn't mean all out costume, just awesome masks. This is a formal event, so while your character can wear whatever they want (to preserve individuality), please try to be a bit formal. Like, a variation of an individualized ensemble. Among those attending so far will be Britty, Ron, Allen, Tim (Havok Tim), Melanie, Rae, (hopefully Kaye), Tee, Michael, Kierkess, Ed, myself, Jean (she said anyways, you better come, lady)! And many more! If you plan on coming, please post a reply to this with which character so we can all be motivated to get more people in it! And let me just bait you with a very real promise of AWESOME ROLEPLAY.
SHIT. WILL. GO. DOWN. And that's a promise -and- a threat.

I'll be there with Ana! Don't you worry about a thing. BUT, I heard it was going to be postponed due to Allen's mean net-problems? D: 'Tis True?

Why dont you just make it a week long event type of thing? That way a lot more people will be able to log on and what not.
