Hello,
I am new to this website and have only visited a few "rooms" in TK. Yesterday evening I popped on to meet a friend in the Main Hall. As I was waiting someone posted a link... so I clicked it expecting a humorous pic of sorts...
Instead what I saw was a real picture of a 3 or 4 year old child. Not sexual in nature, but it still made me uncomfortable (I am a mother). Also, some of the commentary following the posting of the picture was off.
The member posting the pic went on to say something along the lines of "yes, I want to post more pics of my little cousin...". Which made me wonder if the child's Mother even knew that her childs pictures were being posted on the internet. As a parent, I know this would infuriate me.
Another link was posted, and I said to no one inparticular "not clicking"... On which I was verbally attacked by another poster in the room - endlessly. (I can give member names if needed)
Then the poster of the pics started saying they were pics of herself as a child...
My point is this - no one can really "know" who a picture is of - I would highly suggest that you add to your rules that posting pictures or even posting "links" to pictures of MINORS is not allowed. Again, because there is no way to know who the child really is.
I am reporting this thru the Forum, as the "Contact the Staff" link said to do. If there is somewhere else I need to be reporting this please advise.

Is this suggesting that we can't link pictures of children---I mean, CLOTHED children because someone might masturbate to them?
This would mean that noone could RP a child ever or post links of themselves as a child.
Honestly, I hope I misread, because I think that if it's not sexual in nature or nude, that the idea of banning images of regular ol' kids is pretty freaking ridiculous.

Im going to just put my two cents in and say I agree with Pink, some of our most well known RP charas are kids, and to ban photos of any kid would elimante them and a whole aspect of RP in general.

I'm forced to agree, sexual pictures of children should have the posters hunted down and shot but otherwise, it shouldn't even garner a second looksie. And while I can understand the author of this threads concern I think she is overreacting.

The Keep is like a retarded 4chan.
The majority of its users, especially those in the main hall, are made up of little kids faking ADHD to use an an excuse for bad behavior and because having a mental disorder is really rad, apparently. People in the Main Hall think internet memes that are three or more years past their prime are funny and are generally douche bags.
It's best to just ignore them. They're just trying to be edgy and hip - regularly breaking The Keep's AUP sometimes in the presence of the mods just to see how far they can go before they get their teeth kicked in.
