Modern | Realistic
Are You Kind?

Why?
Because of the current state of the economy; I’ve opened my warehouse to you all. There is an application to get in; however once you’re accepted you will not have to pay rent or utilities. You will have showers at your disposal, you will have a bed and each floor has a kitchen where you can make meals. I will be stocking each fridge with necessities for living; however you are expected to maintain a job and bring home food for yourself and your family.  You will have your own area though I encourage community living. I encourage you to take your wages and help better the surroundings for yourself and your fellow squatter.  There were times when we helped our neighbors. There were times where we were kind to those around us. This is a somewhere for anyone; of every and any level of income to be. This is somewhere safe; and welcoming to my neighbors.

Rules

-   Do keep your space clean
-   Do be pleasant to your fellow squatters
-   Do keep yourself clean
-   Don’t cause a disturbance
-   Don’t rape, murder, maim or anything of the sort –
You will be removed and the police will be notified.

Accommodations

Each person will have a cot with a mattress pad and linens. Each person will be given a bedside table with lamp and religious text of your choice. Each person will receive a towel, bath sheet and hand towel. Each person will have their own bar of soap and toothbrush with paste. Each person will be given clothing; if needed. Each person will receive a signed letter of authorization: without this you will be removed from the premises

To Apply

Name - (in full please)
Age -  (numeric)
Gender - (M/F)
Occupation - (If unemployed please say so)
Allergies/Medications - (in case you need medical attention)
What Brings You Home? - (What brings you to my warehouse)
What Should I know About You? -   (Anything extra)

To Apply please place this in your profile and send me a whisper after its been filled out. If you already have a profile created; adapt it to this format. If something doesn’t fit, you can make a new category

The letter of authorization will be made by me for your character. I will give you a link to place in your “URL” area. Without this; if you haven’t spoken to a moderator we have the right to remove you from the room. If you are a guest of a character and we remove you; please whisper to and inform us of this. We can’t always get it right; but we will try.

A little addition: some history

Because I was asked about it; I'll clear up a few things.

Charles Wallace (the man who had opened this warehouse) was once the owner of this warehouse; which used to function as a factory. In the past few years; he's closed the factory and removed the equipment. Originally he transformed this into a living area because he'd laid off workers and felt that it was unfair to thrust them into the streets after taking away their jobs, without a strong promise of them finding more. Since the opening of The Warehouse Charles has found great pleasure in using his extensive funds to help others. He's opened The Warehouse to the public because he's realized the necessity of a place like this. Shelters can only house so many; and they don't often allow the people to stay for very long. This way, each person or family has the ability to feel as if they're in control of their own space.

The rooms are seperated by something similar to cubicle material. No one has full walls; but each area can be closed off from the next. The doorways are covered by curtains to allow some privacy. The rooms aren't very large, because communal living is encouraged. However; each person does have space allotted for themselves and their families to sleep and have solitary or family time.

Hope that clears some things up!
