The tK staff have selected two new trial staff members based of PM'd nominations to the staff. The staff needed some temporary help because many of the current staff members are either on vacation and/or cannot cover all of the hours we need to on tK.

Those trial staff members are Daeva and Sideus.

Sideus has only mod powers in the Pub.
Daeva has only mod powers in the default rooms.

This will give you an opportunity to examine how they perform as staff members before we run the voting process. It will also give you an opportunity to collect logs to show their abillity to perform or lack thereof.

They will not have any powers or authority in usermade rooms. You have to elect them before they can become global moderators.

You may use this thread to discuss this.

I've seen Sideus control a crowd before and he manages pretty well.  He's also pretty effective here on the forums.  So he'd be a good pick, to be sure.  I can say the same for Daeva as well.  Both of them would be good picks in my opinion.

Holy shit, they're making Sid a mod?

... can we have a promise that he'll be held to his idea of doing everything in-character?

Also, woo, go Dae. I admit to amusement that Dae was trusted with the whole place, but Sid was only given the Pub to deal with. = V

Not exactly the whole place, Ix.
Only the default rooms. Half of which are never used. Except for lurking, and OOC.

How can you become a trial mod? Or even designing and ideas? because I like doing both, who better to restore order in the rooms then the troll who knows how to cause them? Takes a thief to catch a thief right?

Better for restoring order: Somebody who doesn't cause chaos. = V Never elect the Joker as a councilman.

Hey don't get me wrong I may be a troll, but when it comes to a special job that requires you to be serious and retain order then I am serious about things.

If Dan doesn't mod as an Imperial Inquisitor, he should be permabanned.

If I'm globally modded on Inquisitor I will do just this.

I am confident that Sid, though he's a giant nerd and rabblerouser, would be a good, fair mod. And he's around often, as some of our mods can't be.
