Pink came to me with this idea, so I figured why not? Here's a thread for sketching exercises for anyone who wants to be a part of it. There are no themes, no rules (other than those pre-established for this subtopic), and no restrictions other than yourself. Actually, that's a lie. The rule is to try to do and show a sketch at least once a day. It doesn't have to be finished or colored, and it can be in any medium. Also, please make sure to provide a link to large images (more than 500 pixels in any direction) in order to keep the page tidy looking and to go easy on people's bandwidths. If you need help looking for a starting point, go here and click on the 'Themes' button. This is (one of) the standard 100 themes challenge(s) for artists that can be found over the internet. It doesn't necessarily have to apply for just manga. It can be for anything. As a suggestion (but not a rule), try experimenting with a style or subject matter that you don't often deal with. You never know when you'll hit gold, and this thread is all about practice and growth. Here's a list of current contenders! Sketch #7 for 11-2-09I rarely ever do a drawing of Hikari/Uyraies that I like. I like this one. Did this with a Cintiq, which only makes me want one more. There's a lot of red in her skin for a reason, bee-tee-dubs.

Commission I'm working on for Furr.Next up is Rusti's. You guys have every right to slay me for not pumping these out in a timely manner. Actually, Rusti can slay me more. P.S. - The ONLY reason why my lines are so nice is because they were done in Illustrator, which is a vector based program, and it was taken at a huge ass resolution. Doing linework with tablets sucks and I hate it.

I've been recently taking (kind of) a shine back to the series again, and I'm finding that I really like her. Kagome, not so much. Still, I wish they would've wrapped the damn series up earlier.
