Infernal Pursuits: Daemon`Gon RP

There was once a time long ago when hell had an open door policy. The Devil needed souls to fuel his war machines and thus he invited humans into his Dark Domain under the decree that they give their souls to him for eternity. Unsurprisingly, many mortals showed up to meet their fate, most under the false pretense that they would gain powers beyond their wildest imaginations. However, the Dark Lord has never been known for his honesty, and those humans were enslaved; their souls sucked from their being and replaced with the evil that permeated the land. This open door policy was only supposed to last for a single century, but Satan was a greedy savior. He kept the gates open, only slightly changing the terms. Any mortal could go to hell if they broke the Commandments, sinned without shame and didn’t repent. Thus became the hell that we know of today.
But now the tides of change have turned again. The Demons of old seek to find refuge out of the now over-crowded Dark Citadel. Lucifer has aged to the point of being benign, senile and docile beyond recognition. It is time for the old to become the new, for Hell’s Soldiers to reign on Earth.
It will be a war for souls that will shake the Heavens. Forces from both sides will be forced into combat. But for the power-hungry megalomaniacal Lords of Despair the war will also be an internal survival of the fittest in which only one can be the Devil.

This is a fight-based rp. Do not join if you are afraid of your character getting killed or you do not feel comfortable engaging in fights/spars.

Note1: These Archdukes and Duchesses of hell bear scant to no resemblance to humanity.

Note2: The second hierarchy is very active on earth, often appearing to their subjects as beautiful men and women.

Note3: If you wish to serve one of the other lords of Hell make sure that your character is relevant to their needs. For instance, a good servant to Leviathan would be a Papal of Satan.

ATTENTION! If anyone wants to make the Heavenly counterpart to this rp then please go ahead. An all out war is what is ultimately aimed for. Just make sure that if you do it, do it correctly, and tell one of the mods about it so we can all get together and be a happy family.
