Legend of Mana is the sequel to the hugely popular SNES title, Secret of Mana. Like it's predecessor, it has the same action-RPG style, where you get to move around and beat enemies to death with pointy objects without bothering with such silly things as 'turns' and 'active time battle systems'.

It's a good game.

Next game, no time for votes, EDIT: is NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER going to be The Lost World, for the Playstation. Or something that probably nobody's familiar with for the Genesis. Screen-shot style, too. Huzzah!

But first, our main character needs to be made.

We need a name!

Aditionally, a weapon: One-Handed Sword, One-handed Axe, Two-Handed Sword, Two-Handed Axe, Staff, Knuckles (bad ass) dual-knives, or Flail (nunchaku, really).

ALSO male or female, YOU choose. Ultimately, it does not make a different to the plot. At most, it changes a line of dialogue.

I've got no name, but I'll put in a vote for two handed axe.

For similar reasons as Kit, I think, except for how axes > swords.

I'll close the vote tomorrow.

Votes are:

1 for Two-Handed Axe, 2 for Knuckles (fuck yeah), 1 for Two-Handed Sword. 1 for Two-Knife (also cool).

I forgot the Warhammer, the Spear, and the Bow as weapon choices. Durp.

I always took the one handed sword and renamed it to be an umbrella.

Because honestly it looks nearly identical.

6 for female (assuming everyone who posted voted), 2 for male

It's pretty much a given. Everyone wants to see a girl whup some monster ass.

1 for Two-Handed Axe, 2 for Knuckles (fuck yeah), one for one-handed sword, two for Bow and Arrow, one for Spear, One for Knife.

Names are

1 for Marshmallow (Mashumaru?!?)
1 for Asphodel.

Incidentally, I'll be uploading the OST as the videos go on. Enjoy~

Right. It's tommorow.

The main-character has overwhelmingly been voted female. Rockin'.

As there are only two choices for names, both with the same number of votes, I shall combine them. Her name shall be Marshmasphodel.

Weapon wise: A tie between Knuckles and Bow and Arrow, so I'll use both of those. I'll probably also end up using all the others in a Special Technique Showcase later, anyway. Except for Staves. Staves suck. Immeasurably.

Expect the introductory videos later today.

Yeah, it kind of does. I'm not sure why. It might just be that Pain The Universe is a louder theme.

Scribble votes for Elazul

Vote closes at . . . 4PM, today.

With Scribble's vote included, that's 3 for Elazul, 1 for Daena, 1 for Gato. Elazul wins, hands down.

Update will be tomorrow.

No new theme for this boss, I'm afraid.

Audience Participation

We now have access to every weapon type in the game (except staves as they suck), therefore, the next weapon-type we use will be up to you guys. Choices are:

Two-Handed Sword

Two-Handed Axe  2

Hammer 2

One-Handed Sword

One-Handed Axe

Knuckles 4

Spear 1

Flail

Bow and Arrow

Dual-Knives 2 (one vote is mine)

Your choices determine where we go next - and what we kill the things we find with!

Voting closes tomorrow.
