Hey yo, pretty much. WEA, the wrestling roleplay that has nesseled in and found The Keep to be it's permanent home, and has been in existence for I believe, somewhere around six years if you include it's predecessors that ultimately shaped this roleplay. The roleplay, WEA, stands for Wrestling Entertainment Alliance. If you didn't get it by now, it's about the interesting world of professional wrestling. Whether it be sport to you, or a more glamorous, prime-time soap opera with elevated testosterone and a Gladiator feel, we need more players.
We used to have RP's up all day, every day, finishing handfuls of matches in a single day, now we're lucky if we get two done in a week, while the rest of the card goes unfinished. Tryouts are not required, though, to be booked higher you must, must, prove yourself and don't expect to be seen as a top-dog just because you can RP. You have to pay your dues.
The RP itself is judged by the players inside of it, determining what hit and what doesn't. However, this often leads to someone doing something completely irrational and what in real life would be that of improbable. With such, instead of "modding" we use the term "no-selling," as, they do not allow a maneuver to disorient, damage and ultimately defeat you as it would the majority of the time in pro wrestling.
I know wrestling is a love/hate topic, so if you're here to flame the roleplay and bash it's members for being "gay because you like wrestling!" Don't even bother posting. Because wrestling is statistically the second widest appreciated 'sporting' event around the world. Behind football (real football) aka Soccer. So a word to the not-so-wise, understand before you criticize.
