I don't know. I registered for the forum intending to represent the nay side of the Arena mod argument, but it's like alternative views are considered disloyal, so I accumulated -100 pies from that alone.
But it's okay. As Tancred said... I'm a baker! People just like to eat my pies because they're so tasty.

I'm not even sure what Auvic's problem is. Take a look at how many posts I've made. Not many. I'm not sure how she can say 'you post shit like this with the intention of starting fights', when 98% of the posts I've ever made were to represent the nay side of the Arena mod argument.

How did this thread go from Athe and myself going into the Lobby to wait for a mod, to Kade and Auvic fighting? I don't even remember either one of them being there when the the whole mess went down? Which wasn't really a mess, although it has causes this thread to continue for a few days.
I am noticing there isn't much hate between the MH and the Lobby as people think. The only hate is between a few individuals, but not either room as a whole.

Actually, the entire basis can be whittled down to a select handful (at highest) of users per person, I imagine. You could probably squeeze hated names out of everyone who has/claims to have an issue with either room.
I'm just saying, Xach and Vivi were at least trying to level out on a decent note.
Doesn't seem like it's going anywhere, though, as the usual trolls... well, they troll.

Actually, the purpose of the thread was served as soon as actual, thought-out discussion began on it. I wasn't so much trying to resolve anything or level things out on a decent note as I was to hopefully limit the number of headache-inducing insult wars in-chat.
This was a success, as far as I've seen; I don't leave the Lobby much, and thus I could be missing something, but at least it ain't in the place I hang out.
If discussion continues, or resumes, good. Communication leads to progress, by and large, and progress is good.
If not, fuck it, it had a good run and some progress was made. At least it didn't devolve into the retardation of a Lobby-Hall battle.

They largely were, in hindsight. Ended up causing more shit rather than cutting it off prematurely and derailed the topic anyway. :/ Sorry for that. Kade is/has in the past acted like a massive tool, though, in every instance I've ever seen him in a debate with people (Not just on the forums, mind. Just because you don't see my OOC name in the chat doesn't mean I'm not there.) It seemed clear that he just posted to take a stab at the MH/Lobby animosity that exists among some users. Which is funny, because he's not an active user of either room. So he's not involved even remotely in any way to begin with. (Not that...I was, either, but I'm at least a part of both rooms and think that the MH/Lobby dogfights are ridiculous.) Just saying. Anyway, yeah. Let's keep it on topic. |
