Why not just open up an alternate Adventurers Guild.
With all the have quit the current one, you'd have a good playerbase.

Hatter. I used to spend days in the Main Hall and contiunally spar with one of it's regular users, who's name I can no longer recall sadly. He and I had a hate/hate/love realtionship we did. He'd call me a whore, I'd insult his tiny manhood, He'd call me...well lots of things and I'd do the same. He was a real troll...Now it wasn't Javi...but it wa--JURI! Err in closing, I've dealt with more Trolls than I can count comes from having been here a damn long time. But your post didn't seem like much genuine advice to me. "Then you can be as ban happy as you want" sounds like words from someone trying to pick a fight.

Now I propose a little experiment. How about, I shut up, leave you guys alone, stop trying to reason with you (because you're beyond that) and we'll see what happens? My prediction is that the drama's going to come back tenfold, because there's already dissent among your ranks and people won't ignore the truth for long. With a drama magnet like Grace running your RP, I don't need to state what the outcome will be. I have always had complaints about her during my time as a moderator, back when she first started with us and recently, but foolishly, I defended her against these accusations.

So, without any further fanning of the flames from me, let this experiment commence. I look forward to the inevitable results.

Actually, any fanning of the flames (which most certainly DID take place) aside, we've moved on to a different, more private format. The recent exodus of extraneous members was more of a boon that I could have ever asked for, and one I anticipated for some time. I'm content in the bed in which I sleep and I hope you all are as well.

Extraneous members? Oh, you must mean 'everyone but you and Grace' who wasn't into that ridiculous and unoriginal plot she had going. As for that snide little remark about fanning the flames? You're wrong. I didn't speak to most of the members after I left, and I most certainly did not encourage them, so if you think I've been orchestrating the AG's downfall behind the scenes, you're a lunatic. I took myself off to another RP site, got more into DA, and let you guys wreck yourselves on your own. Don't try and find excuses as to why an entire group of good role players deemed you and Grace to be rubbish and left. They woke up, and I commend them for it.

I've never seen a player base so unilaterally quit on someone before, and no matter how Thorn tries to save face by putting his spin on things, the truth still stands: Letting Grace take over his RP was a fatal mistake, and it cost him 99% of the AG's players. I think it's pretty clear that's fact rather than opinion.

So in the end (and yes, I was sent a log), Thorn tried to act like he didn't care, and Grace tried to pass the buck by blaming everyone else for her shortcomings.

Enough said.

Extraneous members indeed. The vast majority of them brought nothing to the table. As I said, I'm not losing any sleep. The AG, up until the recent exodus had become a white elephant to me, and it was one I'd have gladly given away with the opportunity. To the point where I dreaded logging on and dealing with the bullshit day in and day out, and playing became a chore, rather than the hobby I had always enjoyed.The vast majority of the people who were members I did not recruit personally or necessarily like, so my lack of emotion at their departure was very sincere indeed. Not an ounce of gratitude was ever shown, only demands and more entitlement. Seeing the lot of you go was a tremendous relief for me, there's no saving face about it. I wish you luck in your future ventures, as I always have, and bear no animosity towards any of you. I was fully aware of the choices I was making when I made them, and I stick by them just the same. If you still bear hostility towards me, I can only say that I pity you. My RP will continue in an obviously modified form, but it will continue nonetheless. I look at this whole incident as an opportunity for me to restructure my game, and as a tremendous burden lifted from my shoulders. Perhaps in time you will forget your silly grudge, at which point I will be happy to accept your apology.

I think you're just making excuses thorn, and you, in all honesty, are upset that you lost your little rp. Devin and Arixius at least have some diginity left in them, what do you have? Oh right, Some crazy grace chick who probably wouldnt know how to rp if she was told to just copy paste a brilliant post.

I guess it's pretty easy not to bear any animosity toward people who didn't do anything wrong, Thorn. We aren't the ones who have to apologize for anything. When there haven't been any crimes against you, then of course you won't be upset.

From what i can tell, You're the one that ruined the AG, and with the attitude your using now, its not surprising. You have no dignity, but thats alright. You have grace to suck up to when things get rough.
