1 Users of the Keep are asked to keep profanity to a minimum.
Light swearing is acceptable, both in character and out of character. Light swearing includes words "ass," "damn," "hell," "bitch," and other swear words that aren't considered harsh swearing.
Harsh swearing is acceptable out of character, when it is censored or not directed toward someone present in a hostile fashion. Harsher swearing is considered to be the words "fuck," "cunt," and the like. Room names and User names MAY NOT contain harsh profanity.
Emphasis mine.
Basically, while being called a retarded gay faggot retard is unpleasant (and stupid), it's not against the rules per se, though if it continues long enough, it can easily be considered spam, which is explicitly against the rules, and will be treated as such.
Notice, however, that
you cannot call someone else a cunt as this seems to be something some of our users have had trouble with in the past.
When being faced with rude users who fling around names like that, the best thing to do is simply to ignore them.
The /ignore username feature, while it has some issues (it wipes out text), lets you very easily continue on with your business without having to see said rude persons' text. Don't let them know you're ignoring them, though, as that shows you haven't gotten past the high-school-ish 'talk to the hand' phase, and kind of contributes to the problem.
On an end note, as Mikail said: "On harrasment: Don't do it. Someone gives you shit, don't fire back. Ignore them, log what happened, send it to a moderator. Also I'm corrupt and will ban whoever doesn't give me the best sandwiches."
