RobochristX recently joined the staff as a trial Global Moderator. As a Global, you have had a few weeks to evaluate how well he performs in that role. Like all staff members, trial staff are given a poll to determine how well they are performing.

A Global Moderator's responsibilities include the following:

  • Enforcing the AUP fairly, and consistently.
  • Resolving disputes between users.
  • Making new users feel welcome and helping them figure out the ropes.

Do you believe he is doing a good job?

Please vote accordingly.

Voted no based upon my observations pre-banning, for the following reasons:

-Argumentative. Moderator does not do a good job of preventing infractions or really, promoting a user friendly environment
-Poor handle on AUP/Rules of the site, and the enforcement thereof.

Sid, your vote should honestly be considered null. Given that, hey, you're permanently banned.
Why're you doing a Dalton? Why do you persist?

Anyhow. Robodude's doing a good job. From what I have seen, anyway.

No, no. I agree with Sid on one point.

I don't do a good job at all at preventing users from glitching the system to ban evade.

But, thank you Furr. =D

I'd have to say from what I've seen personally that Robo does a fairly good job moderating, and is fair, and helpful.

I'm bored. Until Webby revokes my politka standings I'll vote accordingly to what I had seen prior to my ban. (I took the nothing vote on Vivi cause I never saw him do anything.)

You have all the blatant disregard for manners most of the other moderators have, so I'm sure you'll fit right in.

Prior to my banning, you:
-Encouraged people to continue arguing to the point of threatening a ban,
-Threatened to ban for more then one thing that is NOT covered in the AUP (I believe slurs were one of these),
-Unfairly used your power. At the time, there were much worse things tossed at me then anything stupid I said, but I saw all the punishment for a clause not in the AUP. (Null point, the last bit.)

This is what I based my "no" vote on, not anything stupid. Your derogatory manner doesn't help when you're a moderator, either. But hey

I'd like to point out that all of Robo's issues/problems had occured before he became Global Moderator, and when he was merely a Room Moderator. With that in mind, shouldn't we take his performance and actions as a global mod into consideration moreso? You're bringing up past occurrences that happened before he was promoted. The question is asking how he is fairing as a global mod, after all.

... but he's still the same person. A fancier hat doesn't change who's wearing it, and if he did stupid things as a room mod, he may also do stupid things as a global mod. Saying "Well, if he's a Global mod instead of a Room mod, when he was a Room mod when he did the thing" is like going "Well, he's a Governor now instead of a Mayor" and expecting it to make people forget things he did.

I haven't interacted with him in his function as a mod, and my vote reflects this, in any case. = V

Sorry again! I used the template for Syn, forgot to remove references to the wrong gender everywhere (like in the poll questions.)

In what little interaction I've had with Robo, he fulfills the duties of a moderator well.

I admit I'm voting more based on political equilibrium, but I have seen him in action, and he was both fair and decisive.

Like Moondog, he's readily available when online and responds promptly (or so has in what cases I've seen him respond-- perhaps there are fluctuations).

Thumbs up.

I think Robo's doing just fine as a Global Mod. *Nod*
