Is there anything that can be done about the spam that's been blasted all over the forums? Something besides just deleting them.

Is there some way we could require a "proof of humanity" box when you make a forum account or when you start a new post?

I don't know if there's a better way to do it or anything, but it's really making me kinda crazy.

Yeah, but the spam is awful...and it's not getting cleaned up. Sad Besides, I think there are people other than Web who patrol the forums

I'm pretty sure Syn can clean the forums up, but she doesn't really look at them much. I think it would be a good idea to have a proof-of-humanity, though, as that would, in theory, shortcut the entire issue.

I'm an Ombudsman. I investigate; I only very rarely legislate (and only in a committee, no man is an island and all that).

The one in place doesn't seem to cut it.
