I think we came up with a solution amongst each other in the room. We can end this thread.

If you find that solution,Hatter. I'm backing you. Make it happen, Cap'n.

FIrst off....

-=Smashes a tittay with the war club=-

NO MOAR TITTAY!!!!

Second off, any assumptions that the second room was made out of butthurt is redonkulous. A point was proven when the people who held the original ideals of the original Arena OOC were allowed to explain their reasoning, logic, and rationale behind the second room without being bantered incessantly, during the interim. I, personally, received A LOT OF WHISPERS AND MESSAGES in chat and on messaengers from anyone involved. When I was given the chance to explain through a medium that wasn't as hostile as it was in the intial OOC Arena room, everyone held their personal veiws aside and came to the same conclusions in the end.

As mentioned, haters gonna hate. Some people won't get over it but this needs to steamroll itself out

I'm impartial, seriously. At this point I prefer the second room because it's easier on the eyes not trying to read 42 lines of text that gets entered in the span of two seconds. That lag was horrible in their, lol.

But red team vs. blue team, I actually had an idea. Like, it would be kinda funny to have a little Arena RP war between the two rooms. Just for shits and giggles.

TO THE DEATH!

Kade got butthurt over him and Marz getting joke-kicked by one of the other mods in the first OOC arena room.
Then he had a total fucking shitfit, or something.
Then he made his own room.

And presto, here we are.

Sooo. Yeah.

It wasn't entirely baseless. I remember him making an enormous deal about:
How someone ( read: Familiar, I think ) had said, at some point in time, "The mods are unbiased", and how the lol-kicks and promotion of "People who are friends with the mods" to mod-ship violated this (obviously ironclad) promise and thus, debased every intent that the room was for.

Other points made were that the 'Arena_OOC_Discussion' room was somehow ( originally? I still don't recall where he got this from ) intended to be an Arena 2.0, or something of the sort, and how the room was failing to live up to those expectations.

I think there were some other things, but I couldn't quite hear it through the 'lol Auvic no u dumb' and 'everything Auvic says is mindless bullshit and doesn't need to be responded to/considered'.

Edit: I'm not butthurt, promise. Sort of amused, though.

It's all good. I believe we're going with the decision that there will be no moderators for the room. If there is an issue concerning the AUP then a global moderator can step in. I think everyone will be happy that way.

Anyone would be annoyed if people were childishly kicking them from the room. There is no butthurt about it.. <.<

...Dunno, Petra?
I got kicked a couple times from the room, but I never complained about 'abuse of mod privileges'.

And similarly, Kittysrule was the one that got kicked the most, and even he never complained about abuse of mod privileges. And no, he never got modded, either. S'far as I know, at least.

And really, it's something to get annoyed about when all you have to do is retype your password and press enter, right? Didn't figure it was that big of a deal.

People get jokingly kicked all the time and don't give a crap about it.

If people who I don't like/aren't my friends kept 'jokingly' kicking me from a room, I'd make my own so I don't have to login again and again when I'm trying to chat. Everyones different so, if you enjoy it, go nuts. Why not stay on the home page all day instead of chatting??!! Cheesy

Except, of course, if the people you don't like are kicking you from a room ( and it's obviously a user-created room ) why not go to a different room?
It's not as if you can't chat with people in any other fashion, or you absolutely must chat with your friends in a room created by someone you don't like, or someone that continues to kick you from the room, or whatever.
