Making assumptions of whether people have a life outside tK or not, based on them trying to get back into tK, is not a good idea. If you're right, congratulations; nobody really cares.
If you're wrong, you look dumb, though it's likely forgotten soon after.
It doesn't help that you make this assumption all the time. Or at least fairly often, that I can recall; I may be remembering you doing it more often than you actually do, but I just don't really care enough to go diving for logs.

Honestly, other than the chatting---which is fun, don't you guys think that this place is kind of limited? I mean, it's a fun filler/added thing to do (because I CONSTANTLY multitask), but beyond that why are so many people so addicted?
If you have friends, can't you keep in touch with them outside of tK? I'm just saying, unless you really dig for it, this place isn't very rewarding. Not like say, building a birdhouse might be.
I simply don't understand, but I don't use this place for the same reasons, I'm sure. What are everyone elses'?
I actually felt like answering this, the rest of the thread not really of any interest to me but this caught my attention. Aside from finding role playing an excellent way to find an outlet for my urge to write and indulge my love of story now that good role playing games on any kind of system are as rare as finding flawless diamonds in your backyard basically. Aside from that I use it to stay in touch with friends and spend time with them since we no longer or never lived near one another, not every friend I meet here necessarily always lived thousands of miles away though many did, some I lived down the street from but they or I moved and thus I use TK to talk with them and just have something to do. However even if all my friends left the site I would probably still stick around again for that love of writing stuff, I have searched for a site like TK where I could indulge in that love of writing and story but I never found it, this site is one of a kind and I imagine a lot of people have the same love of being able to weave a story or simply write as I do and that may be why they are so fond of the site. Those are my reasons for sticking around and continuing to frequent the site when I have time. |
