The funny thing is that Pink is one of the most "invested" people on TK.

This coming from you.

This would be an effective retort presupposing you actually a)who I am b)knew about my life or a)knew who I am.

YOU DONT KNOW ME!

Ask yourself, how much of the community is doing something noteworthy with themselves? Being involved in serious creative projects? Pushing their careers?

I'd say a lot of them. The people I talk to all either have jobs, are at college or Uni like me, or are raising their children.

Ironically, I think it's the people who really aren't doing anything that don't frequent the internet. I can't see crack addicts or pimps or drug dealers frequenting TK or the internet in general.

I don't think the percentage of children among TK's users is as high as some people think it is. "They're all just kids" is something people say to console themselves when confronted with other user's apathy, rudeness, lack of empathy, and indifference.

Speaking as someone whose always tried to foster community through online associations, it's not people's age or occupation that causes these things.

I'm sorry to see someone else's community project go down the shitter, but I'm also not surprised.

You clearly don't know enough crack addicts, pimps, or drug dealers. Lazy people who do drugs/commit crime for money generally have a lot of down time on their hands.

I'm extremely invested in the Keep Roleplay chat.

I

lol

Anyway. I'm extremely invested. I come here every day. RP every day. Most of my friends are people from this site. I've even dated people from the Keep and have spent the last ten years here growing up and developing with you every day. When I come home from school, I run hastily into my studio, ignore my dog and log into the Keep. When I log in I breathe a sigh of relief because finally, I'm somewhere accepted where I can be myself. Syn, Rook and Ker are some of my best friends. All of the time we sit and talk about how we should make a Keepcon so that we can all meet and hang out with each other.

I'm so jealous of all of the pretty girls here and the cool guys. I hide behind a troll demeanor so that nobody pays attention to my ugly face. I don't really have an outside life, so I make sockpuppets to entertain myself. I even develop other personas to keep myself company. My Kade persona I've created just to devalidate everything I say as pink and to generally be a pretty cool guy who makes very concise, convincing arguments.

Also, SSS is my boyfriend.

And I cyber with Windthor daily.

I'm very invested in the Keep.

Honestly, Pink, you're a difficult person to love.  But I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the challenge.

D'awwwh, Flamme. Hahaha sorry about the ball-punch, it was just irresistable.

:3 Don't worry, I'm well worth the effort.

I'm actually really sweet and harmless, I just have a snarky streak.
