Ah, I'd like to be able to archive all the work I've done with S&S in the TIC forums and either copy it all to another forum or, at least, to some sort of text medium.  But the manual way, take all 500 billion posts and copy paste one at a time, is insane.  Is there a method of archiving and saving an entire thread into some kind of file?

Bring me thy aid.

If there is an option to change how many posts are displayed per page, I couldn't find it.

The best way to archive a thread that I know of is to go to your browser's File option and save it page by page as either a Web Page or an HTML document. Either one will allow you to open it in any browser the way it appears except for maybe graphics (some browsers save the graphics on the page to the same folder automatically).

Someone could probably make a program to strip the post text and name out of the html of the pages if you downloaded the whole html page of each set of posts.

It wouldn't be too terribly hard, but you'd either have to know how to or find someone that really loves you that does know how to do it.

Or pay someone who doesn't quite hate you to do it and knows how.

It... looks like this is what I need.

http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article/transferring-your-board-to-a-new-host-or-domain/

However most of this is Greek to me, and I'd need access I cannot.  I think I still have board mod powers in TIC, but not admin.  That's Webby J right?  Fortunately I've already PMed him, but if it's someone else, do tell.

Gui is also a board admin, if I recall correctly.

Do you want to move your stuff to a new a forum or do you want a text copy to serve as an archive?

I can do both but they're different things.

Yay Webby!

I'm moving it here, to Salin.  http://s7.zetaboards.com/Salin/forum/17243/  In the Haven forum, probably in its archive subsection for history purposes.  If you can transfer it direct that's all well and good, but since it's a different board format it will probably have to be text.  I can work with that too.  I'll leave it up to your judgement on what's feasible.
