Tony's been acting the same way for a very long time. And, with his recently being made a mod on CC, his behavior has toned down considerably. So, for a global mod (and as I recall, Rook is the owner or a co-owner of the site?) to come in and chide him about something that happened on the forums, and really wasn't as hardcore as Rook seemed to present it, I just find that so incredibly uncalled for.

In response to his signature being taken down, he could have simply asked Tony to remove it. But, instead, took the lower road and removed it himself and left a bunch of kittens as if to say, "Lol, fuck you, kid. I'm a mod and I can do what I want. :B" That makes me sick.

Rook is a little pansy-ass and he knows it. He knows better than to straight up warn a user for something he deems as inappropriate content. You ask the user to remove their inappropriate content. AND IF THEY FAIL TO FOLLOW YOUR REQUEST, you remove it yourself and then warn them. This crap Rook pulled further proves his uselessness. (Also, I like the kittens. I can see why Rook is so gay.)

No, in all fairness I didn't exactly get WHAT Rook was railing against other than he was annoyed. I can definitely see WHY he reprimanded Tony, but it wasn't communicated. I mean, if Tony gets banned---what for? Is it just the Hitler stuff? Being an ass on the forums? I take issue with a lot of Rook's direct moderation because I don't see the you broke x rule, y happens like I do with the mods. Usually people can state WHAT they did wrong and how it broke the AUP.

Rook could really stand to be a little more concise or direct because a lot of times it just comes out as personal. And if you have a legit case, it's better to outline it clearly because it also leaves no room for them to wiggle out of it/plead to get unbanned. His moderation is just plain messy.


I can see the Nazi propoganda being an issue, definitely, but I don't know what other behavior could have specifically warranted that warning/threat.

"forced to shut people up" to me says a weakness in his own actions. There are much better ways to handle these things and to do it to promote harmony. Obviously, the way he dealt with it has just added to the calamity. It'd be easier to have a little harmony/have a staff that people feel that they can work with.

I'm not defending Tony, and tK's moderation generally seems to have improved, but Rook is an old, old dog.
