Unless you're sure you want to reply, please consider starting a new topic. So yeaaaah! I'm starting a new Minecraft thread! Over the past few weeks, I've been really getting into Minecraft multiplayer. Some TK friends of mine play the game, so I joined them and it's SO MUCH FUN. I started playing just before the 1.5 update. I've never played single player, but I think it wouldn't be as much fun, because what I like about Minecraft is sharing the addiction, seeing what cool stuff other people build, making settlements, and exploring! So! Here's some snaps of a couple of things from our game. This is a ship I built in the bay out main settlement's located around. It's sort of half assed modelled after a Galleon, and I've still got to add the front and back masts. It's got six cabins in that back bit (lol nautical terms), and a huge below deck area where I've been packing in tamed wolves. It's built entirely out of wood, and the sails are white wool. This one's just a really cool and massive natural cave formation I saw while exploring. Now that I look at it again, it sort of looks like a vagina. SO! Who else plays/is addicted? Okay cool cause like totally independantly I had an idea of building a boat in the bay near the starting area of Rob's server, I was like 'holy shit did someone just snipe me?'.

Rofl no!! I don't even know who Rob is!! Harvey on the same server had the way cool idea of building a blimp in the sky. I thought that was taking creativity to a whole new level. It's accessed by a single block tower of dirt with a ladder running up the side. I'll get pics sometime. He didn't finish it because he built it so high he's reached the world's height limit.

 Mu. It's a work in progress, which will eventually extend from several blocks below sea level to above the clouds - I've been digging at it for a long time to get it down to sea level. |

Mu is to be several mountains, uprooted and floating over a miniature sea. Golden, four-faced Doom mask with waterfalls coming out of the mouths, with spires of gold and stone rising from the depths (and letting people know that there's a city built under the water). Everything connected by minecart tracks.
... that's a lot of zombies.

Holy shit, Moondog! Those pillars are AWESOME!!!! What was the music used in that video too? And zomg, I want to see this Mu finished, Xachariah. Sounds like it'll be a sight! So! Recently, I found a dungeon that gave me two saddles among other things. I decided tor ide a pig. The pig died when I tried to shoot a zombie from pigback. Here's a screen shot. Celandine is Kiko, who witness the entire thing.  1337, Minecraft is so popular because you can ride pigs. |

 Unnamed tower, its still a work in progress (note the lack of windows or decoration on the upper parts, the backside is actually completely undone and there are no floors inside the outer walls yet) The center tops is a lake covered with a glass roof, each of those four corner support towers has a powered rail ystem from bedrock to the corner castles, and those bridges you see on the underside are likewise powered mine cart rails. There's a bunch of other stuff too...but I'll just leave it at thank god for diamond pickaxes to get all that damn cobblestone. |

Holy fucking shit! That castle is HUGE!!!!!!! you guys all seem to be building massive monumental things!! It's amazing!!
And that's some crazy terrain, Xachariah. I've seen water do that naturally too, and it's pretty freaky. You think it'd spill into the cavern, but it just stays there like a creepy waterfall wall.
Also! Has anyone ever come across records, apples, or golden apples? I've been hunting down dungeons like mad (Only found 4), and so far no luck. It's too hard to get a skeleton to shoot a creeper for a record, so I thought dungeons might be easier. All I've got from dungeons so far is string, iron ingots, wheat, cocoa beans, and saddles.

Making them kill one another seems easier then getting it randomly actually. I have a few. That beings aid I've found a total of one apple. Ever. Also, the inner courtyard at the top part of the unnamed tower. Incomplete as of yet. The wheat field needs some lovin', the walls need finishing, the cacti farm needs....cacti....the orchard needs more trees. But hey the reed farm is done and on the glass I have a healthy start to a wolf horde.  |
