Looking around I haven't seen much talk of it or anything, and I'd like to know what the community thinks of the show, specifically roleplay of the show, so I know whether or not this is the right place to stage an MLP RP.

I wouldn't want to RP as a pony. But they are pretty damn spectacular.

This isn't the first time I've seen someone suggest a MLP:FiM based RP here.

Sadly, this also isn't the first time I've responded: "Eh, I'd give it a shot."

So, eh, I'd give it a shot.

RP is a hobby; it is nothing more and nothing less. It is comparable to scrapbooking, model-railroad, gardening, etc. It is a self-indulgent, nigh narcissistic practice that yields no tangible benefits to anyone in any real, practical applications, and serves little more than to justify the egos of those involved, and occasionally impress someone who is equally self-indulgent and narcissistic. Taking it too seriously is a waste of time.

I was looking for pictures like that one and more like it for general DH/RT work and could never find something suitable.

That particular one I randomly found on an imageboard. Haven't seen anything like it since, unfortunately.

I actually never got into the habit of saving random pictures.

I always thought I should have

Do you frequently find yourself in positions where you say "I wish I had some sort of image to describe my disagreement for the original poster's opinion... like a turtle calling him a faggot" ?

I sadly do not have a turtle telling OP he's a faggot.
But I do have a happy tiny turtle.
