19:43:05 [DMD] As you go about your morning preperations, you notice a single man making his way through the open gates. He's dressed in garb that suggests a hunter, but has a holy symbol that matches Owain's hanging around his neck. He glances around the grounds and begins to make his way toward you and the main building.
19:43:57 Owain will greet a fellow follower of the father of the Furrows.
19:45:23 Owain nods to the hunter "Good morning to you, Erastil’s wild bounty has treated you will This season I trust?"
19:46:15 [DMD] The man nods to Owain. " Morning, it has. But something else has brought me here . Can you point me to the leader of this expidetion I heard rumors the Sword Lords sent south ?"
19:46:56 [Owain] "I am a member of this expedition good sir, of what aid can we bring?"
19:47:35 Tülarie had probably found her way to the top of one of the buildings in the compound. It was a habit of hers to get to high places. Her eyes were fixed on the southward side of the trading post, her keen eyes on the lookout for further trouble. She looks down at the newcomer as Owain greets him. For now she will simply watch and wait.
19:48:00 Owain gestures to the tables "Come, sit, I am certain the road has left you weary and parched. Olag, something to drink for the brother of the Hunter's path."
19:49:52 Pae sat at a table, probably nearby, with her assorted items for composing set out before her. She glanced up once as Owain and his friend walked in, then looked back down and wrote a note.
19:50:08 [DMD] The man ducks his head, and mutters to Owain. "Well, being one of the way I like you hoped to add my aid in the expidition as well. " He follows you in to the main hall where Olag and wife have breakfast waiting for all. " But the futher south I came I began to have dreams. Of a temple of the wild one, guarded by a large angry bear. I was hoping to seek it out and restore it, but I've found I'm not the

adventurer I once thought I was and was hoping to find aid in doing so if I can't"
19:52:52 [Owain] "A temple of Erastil? Here? Well this providence most certainly is the hand of the Father of the Furrows. If my comrades are unopposed we will help you find this most holy of holies."
19:54:05 [DMD] Where/what's Porter and the others doing?
19:54:37 Pae shook her head even as she continued to work. "If it helps in both another's need and our own goals, by all means, let us help. A bear aided is a bear calmed is a bear less likely to eat one's face. I rather like my face." Even if it was strange.
19:55:25 [DMD] The man shakes his head. "I'm no adventurer or fighting man, and I have no idea where it would be . Just in my dreams I know it's out there . "
19:55:56 [Owain] "Erastil will provide." He smiles.
19:56:33 Tülarie is up on a rooftop, observing the interactions between Owain and the aid-seeking hunter. As the party cleric begins to show some interest, she deigns it hers as well to get down from her perch and inquire about it as well.
19:56:54 [DMD] "I'm more than willing to do the restoring of the temple once it's found. And.....for those who found it for me I'd cast for free for life, barring any expensive materials needed in the spells."
19:57:34 [DMD] He clearly has no wish to actualy go with you
19:58:14 [DMD] Anyone with Knowledge local, relegion, or history could do a check here.
19:58:40 [Owain] "An Angry Bear would make a stir among the woods and wilds." Owain patted the man on the shoulder "Fear not, I have felt myself remiss for leaving the outpost without guidance of a spiritual nature but knowing you would be here whilst we hunt, Aye It would please me greatly."
19:59:04 [Owain] Alas I have none of those.
20:00:03 Tülarie smiles vacantly. She has no such knowledge. But angry bears, now that was intriguing.
20:00:18 Owain has nature and Geography
20:00:19 Porter goes with Knowledge Local. Can't hurt, can it?
20:00:23 ( Porter rolls 1d20+1 => , + 1 11 )

20:00:50 Pae will roll a Knowledge Local, too.
20:00:53 [DMD] That doesn't help much, Porter
20:01:02 [Porter] I didn't think so. XD )
20:01:18 Pae listens interestedly, trying to dredge up some hint of something helpful. She's heard tales, let them be of use.
20:01:36 ( Pae rolls 1d20+8 => , + 8 21 )
20:03:01 Porter is probably around...somewhere. Close by, listening.
20:06:14 Brottor exits from this room
20:06:46 Pae frowns. She trailed an ink-stained hand through her silver braids, considering. "Please, sir. How long have you been having these dreams?"
20:07:57 [DMD] The man shrugs to Pae. " They started when I came to Bevroy and became more frequent as I traveled south , and now every night since I entered these Stolen Lands, it has to be somewhere within them."
20:09:11 [Owain] "We should be able to find it. I can always ask of the animals, an angry bear would make for gossip among them."
20:10:47 [DMD] Olag and wife go about thier buisness, Captian James finish thier breakfast and with the help of Owain's two converts begin repairs on a second catapult as the morning passes by.
20:11:11 Pae nodded. "Sensible surmation, sir. It is good to know this decision of yours to come to this lands was motivated by something enduring and strong." Rather that than hasty and poorly thought.
20:12:15 [DMD] The man ducks his head and shrugs, seemingly either humble or ashamed. "I just seek a chance to bring the faith back to the Stolen Lands..."
20:13:28 [DMD] Alright, unfortuantly as of now noone has any idea where the shrine if there is indeed one is, so where/what do you do?
20:13:36 Pae smiled. "We seek to redeem the lands themselves. Faith is a facet of any place--maybe the greatest. Your altruism is touching."
20:14:07 [Owain] Anyone adverse to the treasure map?
20:14:47 Tülarie yawns and stretches, having since come to stand besides her longtime traveling companion. The difference between the two in height was pretty much comical. Her demeanor was also

quite a bit more flippant than the concerned gnome. "Well, if our man here has any idea where we could start..." she adds with a sloped grin. As for treasure, Tüla is never adverse to treasure.
20:14:48 [DMD] The man seems to become more and more shy and or humble with every word Pae praises him with. He burries his face in his biscuits and gravy.
20:17:13 [Owain] I say we go treasure hunting, it'll let us cover more wilderness and perhaps run onto the shrine.
20:18:08 [DMD] Wich direction do you go treasure hunting in, is the real question, you got about 30.000 miles of wilderness
20:19:06 [DMD] You can try that
20:19:34 ( Owain rolls 1d20+7 => , + 7 22 )
20:19:39 Pae will try geography, too.
20:19:59 ( Pae rolls 1d20+4 => , + 4 8 )
20:22:29 Owain looks at the map and frowns "I think there was a trapper who came in a few days ago that mentioned such a landmark to the south-southeast of here... That would be our best bet to find the hill with the tree."
20:22:48 [DMD] Sventa stops you all as you leave the main house. "You know, Olag has been wanting a supper of moon radishes for a long time, but I don't have any . And it's been to dangerous to go looking, if you found some I'd pay well for them. They're his favourite and he hasn't had any in months."
20:23:56 [Owain] "Moon Radishes are very good." He smiles.
20:25:36 Pae smiles, adjusting her pack. "That's touching. But of course, and out of good will and your sincerity, I doubt we'd ask for much payment." Personally, money meant little to her. Direct payments from common folk weren't what got a theater going--powerful patrons attracted by tales of adventure and a famous bard, that would do it.
20:25:54 [DMD] And , as you're leaving you notice Cpatian James adding a wanted poster of his own to those posted by Olag on the board. A mercanary named Kesten offers a reward of four masterwork

weapons for the bandit Flagrim Sneeg, who robbed his company and then fled into the Stolen Lands. The reward is four MW weapons if you bring him in alive, two if you bring him back over a saddle."
20:26:40 DMD makes little BING! Sounds as side quests pop up.
20:26:47 Owain takes a look at the picture of Sneeg then joins the rest as we head south-southeast!
20:26:48 Pae takes note of this poster. If they're out, they might as well round up the groceries in totem.
20:26:54 Porter thinks we should take that quest.
20:27:26 [Tülarie] "If we find them while we're out!" she says. No promises there, she didn't even know what a moon raddish looked like. But it sounded like Owain did, so she said nothin else on the matter. Like the others she takes note of Cpt. James' posting and heads out with the others.
20:27:38 [DMD] So we're headed south/south east, MonkBob in tow?
20:29:46 [DMD] You're trek takes you back past the same glade where you bravely battled a giant spider for furr berries to take the the potion maker. You notice once again some radishes and mushrooms growing in the glade along side the berries. And that takes you to the edge of where you've already explored, with one day's travel. From there south you're " off the map so to speak"
20:30:11 [Owain] Are they moon radishes?
20:31:22 [DMD] Roll 1d100s everyone
20:31:31 ( Porter rolls 1d100 => 28 )
20:31:40 ( Pae rolls 1d100 => 42 )
20:31:55 ( DMD rolls 1d100 => 39 )
20:32:02 ( Tülarie rolls 1d100 => 15 )
20:32:04 ( DMD rolls 1d100 => 100 )
20:32:07 ( Owain rolls 1d100 => 95 )
20:32:57 [DMD] As you vere off to the east in search of ye ole claw shaped tree you run into ...
20:33:54 [DMD] Make spots
20:34:19 ( Tülarie rolls 1d20+8 => , + 8 15 )
20:34:23 ( Owain rolls 1d20+5 => , + 5 24 )
20:35:17 ( Porter rolls 1d20+6 => , + 6 15 )
20:35:22 ( Pae rolls 1d20+8 => , + 8 20 )
20:36:18 [DMD] You all clearly see it, an unaturally large wolf like creature running down a fawn as it crosses the game trail you follow ahead of you.

20:36:30 [DMD] Roll Initiative
20:36:48 ( Owain rolls 1d20+1 => , + 1 9 )
20:36:49 [Pae] "... ai, worg?"
20:36:57 ( DMD rolls 1d20+2 => , + 2 15 )
20:37:03 ( Pae rolls 1d20+4 => , + 4 13 )
20:37:04 ( Porter rolls 1d20+3 => , + 3 18 )
20:37:37 DMD punches Tul until initiative is rolled
20:37:41 ( Tülarie rolls 1d20+6 => , + 6 23 )
20:37:46 [Tülarie] ;_;
20:40:29 [DMD] The wolf stands about three feet tall at the shoulder and looks to weight about 300 lbs. It's eyes gleam with a redish fire and intelligence, set in a cunning face with a mouth full of wicked fangs , it's furr as black as night. It is indeed a worg. and the order goes Tule, Porter, Worg, Pae, Owain
20:40:51 ( DMD rolls 1d20+2 => , + 2 18 )
20:41:09 [DMD] Monk Bob squeezs in after Porter.
20:41:49 [DMD] And it's about 40 ft away
20:42:55 [Tülarie] "Well, that's a miserable looking creature," she says of the enormous wolf-fiend. And with that, she levels her crossbow at it and fires.
20:43:09 ( Tülarie rolls 1d20+4 => , + 4 9 )
20:43:20 Tülarie pfft.
20:43:54 [DMD] The bolt slams into the dirt to the right of the vile canine. You swear it's growl sounds more like a chuckle.
20:44:13 [DMD] Porter?
20:44:39 Porter uses his Composite Longbow to take aim and fire at the worg.
20:44:43 ( Porter rolls 1d20+3 => , + 3 20 )
20:44:55 [DMD] That hits
20:45:08 ( Porter rolls 1d8 => 4 )
20:46:51 [DMD] MonkBob rushes thirty feet foward, twirling his temple sword menacingly and squares himself to meet the beast when it closes. The worg sprints forward to meet him, hind haunches flexing to launch itself toward the monk
20:47:10 ( DMD rolls 1d20+7 => , + 7 8 )
20:47:35 [Owain] Something bad is about to happen but funny too.
20:48:11 [Pae] (We're going to need another Bob.)
20:48:12 [DMD] The monk uses the blade to turn the beast's rush at the last second, sending it flipping off to the side with bruised ribs but not seriously injuring it. He seemed to have timed the parry perfectly to flip it like he did ....Pae?

20:51:54 Pae concentrates to begin casting Sleep. (Casting time of 1 round, I'm not sure if that means I have to roll anything now or when it's supposed to kick in.))
20:52:33 [DMD] It's a full round action, it takes effect at the end of your turn, now.
20:52:50 ( DMD rolls 1d20+3 => , + 3 22 )
20:52:59 [DMD] And I think that covers the save?
20:53:13 [Owain] Yeah it should.
20:53:37 [DMD] The beast rights itself on it's four legs, shaking it's massive head and growling as it shakes off the bar'ds magical assult. Owain?
20:53:41 [Pae] ((Yeah, it's good.))
20:53:52 [Owain] Now it has moved to 30' from us?
20:54:04 [DMD] Yep
20:55:42 Owain draws back the string of his yew longbow, takes careful aim and fires at the creature. Whether or not he its, Owain will discard his bow and move forward bringing his wooden shield up as he does so.
20:55:51 ( Owain rolls 1d20+2 => , + 2 3 )
20:56:07 [Owain] Yeah I was expecting that...
20:56:19 [DMD] Roll a reflex save there, robinhood
20:56:25 [Tülarie] .__.
20:56:39 ( Owain rolls 1d20+1 => , + 1 13 )
20:57:42 [DMD] Owain stays where he is, not moving forward because he's too busy dodging an arrow that almost pins his own foot to the plains grass beneath him, the worg chuckles again at the sight of a dancing holy man!
20:58:05 [DMD] Tul?
20:59:31 Tülarie will attempt to circle around the worg in a wide arc. Is Monkbob in melee with the beast?
21:00:44 [DMD] Yep
21:01:38 Tülarie decides not to fire her crossbow then, and instead exchanges that for her rapier. And that will be her turn this round.
21:04:30 [DMD] The beast follows you with it's blazing eyes, growling low and pawing at the ground, as if it knows exactly what you intend, but is unable to watch you and Monkbob at the same time, who's attention it returns to. Porter?
21:06:15 Porter is 40 feet away from the worg. Is gonna maneuver back 30 feet to 70 feet total in distance. Raises his longbow, aims, and fires.
21:06:24 ( Porter rolls 1d20+3 => , + 3 23 )
21:06:28 [Porter] YES.

21:06:42 [DMD] And that's another hitcrit, deadeye dick
21:06:59 ( Porter rolls 1d8 => 5 )
21:07:02 [Porter] x3 is 15
21:09:11 [DMD] The arrow burries itself three quarters of the shaft deep, almost up to the fletching just off center between the worg's forlegs, missing the heart, but piercing a lung in it's chest, you can tell when it lifts it's head to howl in pain and blackish red blood squirts from between it's fangs with every breath now. Monkbob rushes in with his temple sword in both hands to finish the beast before it can lunge or flee!
21:09:29 ( DMD rolls 1d20+2 => , + 2 11 )
21:10:02 Pae stares.
21:10:18 [DMD] Unfortuantly the beast's wild thrashing in mortal pain is to it's advantage, as the blade glances of a flailing limb and is turned to the side without piecing it's thick furr and hide! Pae?
21:12:03 Pae is going to try sleep again--the sight of anything suffering makes her black-and-white face crumple a little. Will DC 16.
21:12:28 ( DMD rolls 1d20+3 => , + 3 11 )
21:13:01 [DMD] The creature slumps to the ground with one last whimper as it slips into magically induced slumber
21:13:07 [DMD] Owain?
21:13:50 Owain will now approach and put the foul beast out of its misery with a sword thrust to the brainstem.
21:13:58 Pae breathes a sigh of relief, making wiping her cheek the same gesture as pushing back her hair.
21:14:51 [Owain] Did the beast manage to get out a howl?
21:16:06 [DMD] Monkbob nods to Owain as the cleric deleivers the coup de grace. " WIcked beasts, once when I was young they used thier ability to speak the common tongue to lure a milk maid out before dawn as she tended the sheep, we found what was left when the sun came up." The beast actually curses you in common even as the blade slides into it's cranium "Buuuuurn in the abyyyyyys human."
21:16:44 [DMD] That was a Cr 2 to be divided amongst the four of you
21:17:08 Porter doesn't know how much exp a Cr 2 is.

21:17:20 Tülarie stands back upright from her bent defensive posture and puts her rapier away with a flourish. "Well! You couldn't tell that I have elven blood with the way I shoot!" Her brows perk at the worg's condemnation, which she only smiles to after.
21:18:25 [Porter] "I must have a bit of it myself, that or I am simply extremely lucky." He chuckles and puts away the bow.
21:18:31 [Owain] 150 each
21:18:38 Tülarie thinks that's 600/4. Or... yes, 150.
21:18:41 Pae shakes her head. "It's as much upbringing as blood, Larie. The Lark's patrol should hang their heads." For both of them, really; she'd wasted her spells.
21:19:24 Owain sighs "I was of little help. Too hasty I was in my rush to keep the beast from harming us.
21:20:51 [Tülarie] "Oh, don't look so wan." A humorous notion considering Pae's dusky complexion. "Twas an evil beast, and I certainly hope there aren't any more in our vicinity."
21:21:02 Owain looks to the others "Take a moment to gather yourselves and examine the area but cautiously, these creatures are like wolves and aren't normally solitary. I must skin the creature, no beast no matter how foul dies without cause or some gain come from it. The meat is of no use but the hide will make a blanket."
21:21:09 Pae muses to herself. "Worgs..."
21:21:17 Owain draws his knife and carefully skins the beast.
21:24:16 Tülarie does as Owain suggests and creeps out onto the highest spot she can find. Are there trees or hills nearby?
21:25:13 Pae takes the cleric's warnings to heart. She trains her ears and eyes on the wilds around them.
21:25:19 [Pae] ((Perception.))
21:25:33 ( Pae rolls 1d20+8 => , + 8 18 )
21:26:18 [DMD] Not near by, but you can see one lone low hill off to the east with what apears to be a single claw shaped tree atop it, branches reaching for the sky. The tree must be exceptionaly large, you judge it to be almost another half day ride to the east.
21:26:44 [DMD] You see or hear no other creatures other than the dead worg and fawn anywhere nearby.

21:26:57 Pae nods, satisfied.
21:28:57 Owain finishes his task and is ready to travel again, south-southeast!
21:29:36 Tülarie blinks at the sight of the hill and the twisted tree. "Oh hey, we're close," she underestimates aloud. Or she's calculating this based on a continental scale, in which case they were certainly closer than they were to Brevoy.
21:29:44 Pae collects her things and her dog; she'll keep her rapier handy this time.
21:30:21 [DMD] Another halfdays' travel to the east, and about midday you see up ahead indeed a large hill with an ancient oak tree who's claw like branches reach to the sky above. The tree must be at least a hundred years old and is visible against the skyline for leagues in any direction, such is it's size. From about sixty feet away you take it in, and compare it to the drawing on the bandit's treasure map, wich it matches up nicely to.
21:32:06 Owain smiles "Erastil blesses us with bounty for our efforts." He looks to Tülarie, "Lead us to thespot and we shall dig.
21:32:07 [Pae] "Good skill. Well recognizable."
21:32:46 [DMD] You need perception/survival checks to find the exact spot to dig around the tree
21:33:05 Tülarie dismounts from her horse and rubs her hands together. "Alright! Let's see what secrets this little wood is hiding..."
21:33:12 ( Tülarie rolls 1d20+8 => , + 8 16 )
21:33:27 ( Tülarie rolls 1d20+2 => , + 2 4 )
21:34:16 [DMD] Tul spends several minutes kicing at stones and roots about the tree's base, but all she discovers is that kicking stones and ages old roots gives one sore toes...
21:34:40 Pae will help to look with Perception, then survival.
21:35:02 ( Pae rolls 1d20+8 => , + 8 26 )
21:35:11 ( Pae rolls 1d20+2 => , + 2 4 )
21:36:19 [DMD] Pae notices one patch of earth between two of the larger roots closest to the tree has been disturbed sometime in the recent to middling past .
21:39:04 Owain will use mending orison to make a makeshift pickaxe using a relatively sharp pointy rock and a limb from the tree.

21:40:30 [DMD] Without tools , using makeshift ones such as what Owain produces and or your hands it takes you almost an hour to dig down to a grizzly discovery, the badly decopmped body in tattererd robes that show several slits where blades penatrated them. Beside the body is a medium sized leather wrapped pacakge. Assumming you lift it out and open the package you find it does indeed contain a masterwork dagger, a thin wand, a silver ring and a large tomb with arcane markings on it
21:41:56 Owain sighs "We will have to intern this body properly."
21:42:41 Pae makes a face. "I suppose when one doesn't question the reward at bandits' hands, it is likely to be... banditry."
21:43:11 Tülarie looks over Owain's shoulder as he does the final uncovering. Her eyes dilate appropriately. "Well, this isn't quite what I expected." She puts away her picking tools, which had been out in her hands and jangling expectantly.
21:45:11 Tülarie will also take the package and sit down to sift through the contents. Appraisal time!
21:46:02 [DMD] Roll your apraises, Tul
21:46:13 Pae sits back a ways from Larie. If Owain requires her assistance, she'll jump to, but otherwise stay over here.
21:46:21 Tülarie examines first the dagger.
21:46:30 ( Tülarie rolls 1d20+7 => , + 7 20 )
21:47:00 [DMD] It's a masterwork dagger. Worth whatever the book says one is worth, don't have it in front of me.
21:47:35 [Owain] 304 gps I think
21:47:55 Tülarie then looks over the wand and the silver ring. She leaves the tome(?) at the side for one of their more lore-oriented members to look over.
21:47:59 ( Tülarie rolls 1d20+7 => , + 7 26 )
21:48:03 ( Tülarie rolls 1d20+7 => , + 7 27 )
21:48:14 Tülarie knows her loot, at least?
21:48:34 Owain will reintern the body whispering the blessings of Erastil over it.
21:49:21 Pae , despite her misgivings, sidles over to the tome. She can't help it, honestly. (Knowledge Arcana?))

21:51:00 [DMD] The silver ring is worth 75gp, the wand is very ordinantly made, and you suspect it's not just a stick of wood for wacking knuckles when someone reaches for the last star cookie. The tome is a spell book that much is obvious, but the groound water has ruined all but five pages of it, you can roll your Arcane Knowledge to know wich spells remain usable, Pae
21:51:50 Pae pages carefully through the mostly-ruined book.
21:51:55 ( Pae rolls 1d20+4 => , + 4 14 )
21:53:22 [DMD] Identify, Mage armor, Reduce Person, Silent Image, and Unseen Servant
21:55:00 [Pae] "Oh, this is interesting." She browses the pages with interest.
21:55:23 Tülarie flips the wand around nimbly in her fingers and also hands that off to Pae. "He had this, too. It seems to be more than a simple stick. Why not give it a glance, too?"
21:55:32 [DMD] Where/what do you do from here?
21:56:46 Pae will do so. "Hmmm."
21:56:50 ( Pae rolls 1d20+4 => , + 4 19 )
21:58:19 [Owain] We could make a slow circle to the west then back to the outpost to get a better look at the land aroun dus.
21:58:28 [DMD] Pae dicerns that it not a stick to be waved around lightly, indeed it is a wand of burning hands. (( caster lvl 2nd 4 charges remaining))
21:58:50 [DMD] So back west, then back north?
21:59:07 Pae blinks. "That's a bit spicy."
22:00:12 [Owain] Yeah a circle that takes is back to the Outpost.
22:00:24 [DMD] As you head back west you find yourself traveling slightly to the south of the radish/berry patch. Futher to the west you see the edges of deep woods, and back to the north lies of course the trading outpost about three days ride. Roll percetions .
22:00:48 [DMD] It does become dark, as you enter the area south of the radish patch as well.
22:01:15 ( Owain rolls 1d20+5 => , + 5 24 )
22:01:17 ( Tülarie rolls 1d20+8 => , + 8 11 )
22:01:26 Owain does collect a sack full of radishes.
22:02:43 ( Pae rolls 1d20+8 => , + 8 9 )

22:03:04 [DMD] You can also see the banks of the Thorne river just shy of the forest off to the west. And Owainis the first to notice a rocky crag jutting up from the hills in the southern tip of the area you're exlporing. In the craig he notices a deep dark 5 foot crack in the side.
22:04:08 Owain points it out to the others "Notice the shadow there on the crag, A cave of some sort, we should investigate."
22:05:46 [DMD] Upon said investigation, if it occurs with any sort of light source, you can see that the slit in the crag leads down about 20 ft to a small cave that apears to be about 30 feet in diameter.
22:06:36 [Owain] We probably should wait on Jack...
22:06:50 Tülarie tilts her head and gives a shrug at this point. "Let us take a look then!" For this expedition Tüla seems to be rather underprepared. Perhaps it's the laxness that comes with knowing you have magic wielding partners that can cast a light at will.
22:07:08 [DMD] Oh it's a thirty feet round cave, what's the worst that could be down there?
22:08:18 Pae will in fact cast light on her rapier.
22:08:43 Owain will enter cautiously.
22:08:58 [DMD] The wall directly across from the entrance glitters alluringly in the light, anyone can roll APraise or Knowledge Dungeonering
22:09:20 Pae will roll the Knowledge.
22:09:32 ( Pae rolls 1d20+4 => , + 4 21 )
22:09:58 Tülarie makes a dungeoneering check.
22:10:07 ( Tülarie rolls 1d20+7 => , + 7 8 )
22:10:12 [Tülarie] prfft
22:10:43 [DMD] Pae 's eyes probably widen as she recognizes the glittering in the light for what it is, a pure vien of gold running through the rock.
22:12:03 [Pae] "... this really must be abandoned, untried land. That's the most accessible vein of gold I've ever heard of."
22:12:28 Owain 'sdoing hisbest to keep an eye out for any creepy nasties floor AND ceiling.
22:12:49 [DMD] The cave is empty, the bestest Owain can tell
22:13:11 Tülarie does not trust such wealth to be unguarded. Perception!
22:13:15 ( Tülarie rolls 1d20+8 => , + 8 23 )

22:13:47 [DMD] While the vien is accesable, your knowledge also lets you know that it'll take time and more man power than currently at your disposal to bring it out of here.
22:14:03 Owain glances over his shoulder "Tülarie, you've a knack with traps, do you see anything of danger here?"
22:14:21 [DMD] The cave is empty the bestester than Owain could tell a few seconds ago, the bestest Tul can tell
22:15:07 Pae knew they couldn't drag an entire vein out. She wonders if she would want to even if they could. Valuable or no, this is pure and untouched...
22:16:04 Tülarie takes another look for traps. The skepticism is running high. "No creatures, besides common spiders that I can see."
22:16:14 ( Tülarie rolls 1d20+9 => , + 9 27 )
22:16:23 [Owain] "We should keep this spot in mind when weh have more men and time to work it."
22:16:50 [Pae] "Mm.'
22:16:55 [DMD] The cave is still empty, other than that glittering vien of pure riches over there on the wall, Tul
22:18:04 Tülarie is finally confident enough in her observations that she lets out a breath and shakes her head. "I can hardly believe it. It's like we're the first ones to set foot in here."
22:18:35 [Pae] "We well might be."
22:20:44 [Owain] We mark it on our personal map then head on back to the Outpost?
22:20:51 [Tülarie] "Well," she says, looking at the gold vein, "this isn't going anywhere without a significant amount of labor. So yes, let's keep tabs on it. It will be valuable in establishing a settlement."
22:22:10 Pae nods.
22:22:13 ( DMD rolls 3d100 => 76, 53, 6 = 135 )
22:22:51 [DMD] You make the tree day trek back to the outpost wihtout incident or encounter, if that's what you choose to do
22:23:01 Tülarie is fine with that.
22:23:14 Pae is, too.

22:24:39 [DMD] All told, to the old oak tree and back you where gone an entire week. When you return Olag, wife, Captian James and the other Bobs breath sighs of relief. They have all four catapults working now, and one trade caravan from the north has came and went while you where absent, albiet a small and fairly poor one.
22:25:31 [DMD] So the next day will be day 15. You all fully explored....2 more hexes, so that's 200xp to divide up
22:26:10 [DMD] Olag's wife is delighted to recieve her radishes, and you recieve 400 xp to divide up and 250gp reward for that
22:26:50 [DMD] Actually it's three hexes finished, the radish patch hex, the gold mine hex and the oak tree hex
22:28:24 [Owain] so that's 700 xp then? 400 and 300?
22:28:46 [DMD] / by 4, yes
22:29:18 [Owain] 175
22:29:21 [Owain] a piece
22:29:56 [Tülarie] This is apart from the XP from the worg, right?
22:30:26 [Owain] yup
22:30:37 [DMD] yes
22:31:23 [Owain] 62.5 gps per
22:34:18 Tülarie is trying to update the hex map. What was the exact route the party took starting from Oleg's?
22:39:18 [DMD] And I just updated the finished and outstanding quests in the forums.
22:40:10 [DMD] I read up on the goldmine, and it doesn't really become a factor until the second chapter of the Ap when you reall get into the Kingdom Building, +1 to Economy checks
22:46:58 [Tülarie] Let me post the map and see if it's right...
22:49:14 [DMD] You all passed through the Mine nd Tree hexes twice, so they should be explored'
22:49:34 [DMD] That's where you got the 300xp, them and finishing the Radish patch
22:49:44 [Tülarie] I thought three passes is what we considered explored?
22:50:24 [DMD] I'm gonna change it to two, two passes, a day a pass, so that's two days,
22:50:41 [Pae] Is Bokken's hut explored too, then?
22:51:02 [DMD] I figure you cover roughly one half a hex one direction, the other half on the way back through that hex

22:51:16 [DMD] Yeah, it would be so that's another 100
22:51:27 [DMD] I'll change the house rule to two passes in the forum too
22:51:45 [Tülarie] So 800xp altogether plus the 600xp from the worg, divided four ways?
22:53:30 [DMD] 400 quest xp+400 hex xp+ the worg, yes
