Good roleplay is not hard to find. You're all just lazy and probably know eachother personally enough to a point where RPing can become uncomfortable or are bored of one another.
Or does good roleplay mean: "Set up by a complete and total stranger who is entirely literate, and has pulled a crowd of utter strangers who are also great at RP and are all really cool people." If this is your standard, it would be time to migrate off of TK. But yes, there are a bunch of good roleplays to get into. If you're no stranger to collaberation with your known peers.

What can I do to make it easier to find roleplayers that don't suck?
Ban all the furries, vampires, half angles, half demons, slaves, and the chimeras that make up 300% (50% of several races, most of which are probably listed above, 6 or so times) of nonsense, genetically speaking. I'm sure the 10 or so people that would be left would be grateful, and the over all RP curb would increase dramatically. Might as well ban humans, too, then. Because human characters are also a majority. I like variety, and more elitism is the last thing TK needs. |

Might I ask for an example, then? Because I think anybody'd be hard pressed to come up with a totally original character concept. I play a few characters and I acknowledge that they're all cliche as fuck. Anomalous energy being, black smith dwarf, sci-fi soldier from the far flung future in a world where he doesn't belong and has been forced to adapt. All been done.

Interesting personality and concept does not equate unique and original. Sure it's all been done before, but some more than others.
For example. I once saw a modern day witch who keeps her spells on her Ipad and has a drinking problem.
Has it been done before? Probably. Does that make it any less interesting, not really. It's better by leaps and bounds than yet another vampire that just wants to be loved.

East Tower, West Tower, Forest, Garden, Mainhall technically if the afkers and lurkers would ever do anything other than act like a surrogate ooc lobby, Pub if it wasn't filled with lurkers and snotty brats with superiority complexes.
Cafe counts if it's modern. Desert too. Though I forget what the particular mode for the Desert is.

If the Default rooms aren't freeform enough....make some freeform rooms yourself? You could always log multiple handles into multiple rooms, and fill up tK's room list with...lots and lots of freeform rooms.

I mean, it's not as if anyone that wants to make their own room has to go out of their way to do it, or anything.
