So, I was banned from my room shortly after kicking Familiar's name after she refused to leave, though I'm not sure if I was banned for that, or arguing about the use of the word "nigger". However, the ban itself isn't my concern. It's the fact that I'm being wrongfully accused of ban evading. I was logged into 4 names on TK, Lucifuge and Ezekiel` in Sitting_Around, and then Erinyes and Cyrus`Valen in private. Well, once I saw that Ezekiel` had been banned, I went to my private tabs to see if they were banned. I clicked on SA, thinking it would ban me, and it didn't, so I exited the chat immediately, and x'd out of the tab with Cyrus`Valen. At some point during all of this, the Lucifuge tab had registered a ban. Please note I was already logged into all of these names a good thirty minutes before the incident, and roleplaying on two of them. I am not asking to be unbanned completey, but that this be looked into. Moondog claims to have logs showing I logged in after those 4, which didn't happen. I did attempt to log into MainHall under Ezekiel` to see if it was a sitewide ban or not, but it didn't allow me to. I have logs below of my conversation with Familiar in MSN immediately following the incident. At the very least, I'd hope to have this lowered from a permanent ban to something that gives me a chance to return.

If it's Lucifuge or Erinyes, I was already on those names.
Erinyes was just in private, and I wasn't sure if it was going to ban me from the private room, so I clicked on SA assuming it would kick me out and tell me I was banned.
I don't know if mods have the power to see when a name was logged into or not.
But it should be in MainHall where I logged onto the chat as a whole as Erinyes
Which was a good 30 minutes or so before the banned

And when I say left
I exited
I didn't go into another room.

At the end of the day this probably won't carry much weight, but I'm going to say my piece anyway.

Zeke and I don't exactly have the best track record (along with many, many others). We've flipped between tolerance and hatred more times than just about anyone is capable of keeping track. He's been on the receiving end of several room bans I've been responsible for (either in whole, or in part), and to this day, undoubtedly, holds a grudge.

He has a track record for being compulsive, aggressive, arrogant, argumentative, flippant, petty, and just generally inflammatory, only showing reprieve to a select few individuals, sucking on his proverbial cock. As a result, I'd be lying if I said that I (or indeed the many others who've "crossed" him) would lose much sleep over the thought of him having received a permanent, site wide ban, but I must protest.

I'd like to believe that after all of my run-ins with this guy, I have a general feel for his character (no pun intended) and personality. If intentional, deliberate ban evasion were something he got behind, ever, I'd like to believe I would have seen it by now. God knows after the half dozen or so room bans that'd been handed to him over the last year, he's had his opportunities to skirt authority, and he hasn't.

We also can't forget about a rather infamous case of alleged 'ban evasion' involving another individual on The Keep with a similar public distaste, for which there were also logs, on which some doubt was cast -- enough doubt to warrant the reduction of a potentially permanent ban into an impermanent one.

Again, I have no evidence to support my suggestions. If we were to compare this to a legitimate 'trial,' I'd like to think I'm functioning as the equivalent to a character witness. Zeke isn't exactly what anyone would call a "pleasant" or "well-liked" guy, and while he does frequently have lapses in judgment when it comes to proving a point, I don't think that extends to ban-evading.

If the evidence speaks louder than my opinion, so be it, but at least my opinion is here.
