Whatever the font is for tK, it sucks.
You can't tell a capital I from a lowercase L. It's impossible. they look identical.
At least the default font on this forum puts the nice little serifs for capital Is. Can we not have this default font for tK instead? It really wont' make much of a difference?
Please?

I find tK legible. Can't say I have much concern for what font it uses as long as it satisfies that one requirement.

I wouldn't mind not having to ban lower-case-Lrrationalist every now and again, yes.

I'd like it to be entirely Papyrus.

Or even Ransom.

Just mentioning this, but using Firefox as an example:

Tools > Options > Content > Font & Colors > Advanced > Uncheck "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

I usually change the background to black too, then using a window transparency background program, set The Keep to 70% or so, with a desktop image representing the place I'm role-playing. Add some calm ambient music from either the Conan Suite or Loreena McKennitt's instrumentals, and bam--instant role-playing mood.

only problem is that affects EVERY site on the net, so slightly a bit of overkill with the font thing. Still a neat idea though.

Dat's tru'.

But really, I'm serious about text role-playing, cause I got to be in the mood. If I'm in the mood to sit down for the length of time it requires to really do some good paragraph role-playing, I'm willing to take the thirty seconds or so of time needed to set the font to Times New Roman when I start role-playing, and then revert it have to defaults when I'm done. So! It works for me, and I'm happy to share my techniques, whoop whoop!

There's probably an extension for FF to only apply this to some sites.

Maybe anyways, really would not surprise me.

Shane raised an interesting point. It's not Papyrus. For that I am grateful.

Truth be told, I can't say I've ever had much issue with a capitalized "I" and a lower-case "l" before — I dislike Arial for other reasons; mostly it's cheapness.

Were the Keep to change to a different typeface, I'd have to cast my vote in with Verdana simply because it's easy on the eyes and solves the I versus l troubles. Also Futura. Because Futura rocks.

Verdana.

First person to mention Helvetica will die.

Helvetica is everywhere; it is easily the most widely used font ever.

Arial is just its bastard cousin.

Helvetica > Arial
